Your Privacy Choices

Maplesill never sells or rents your personal information. We do use advertising tools, like the Meta pixel, that some privacy laws treat as "sharing" for targeted ads. This page explains how to switch that off and manage your other choices.

Opt out of targeted advertising

To opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, you can:

• Use the cookie or privacy banner on our site to decline advertising cookies. Your choice is remembered in that browser.
• Email info@maplesill.com with the subject line "Do not sell or share" and the email address you shop with. We'll apply the opt-out to your customer record.

After opting out you'll still see ads online, but they won't be tailored using your visits to our shop.

Global Privacy Control

If your browser or extension sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of sale and sharing for that browser. There's nothing else you need to do.

Cookie controls

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking essential cookies may stop the cart and checkout from working properly, but analytics and advertising cookies can be refused without affecting your shopping.

Meta ad settings

If you use Facebook or Instagram, you can also review and change how ads are shown to you in the ad preferences section of your Meta account.

Marketing emails

Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and you're off the list, with no questions asked. Order and shipping emails will still arrive, since they're part of delivering your purchase.

Access, correction and deletion

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct anything wrong, or have it deleted, subject to records we must keep by law (such as tax records of past orders). Email info@maplesill.com and we'll confirm your identity by writing back to the address on your order. An authorised agent can make a request on your behalf with your signed permission.
