Welcome to Maplesill. The sections below set out the agreement between you and us whenever you browse the shop or buy a set of tea towels. We have tried to write them plainly, so you know exactly where you stand.

1. The company behind Maplesill

This website and shop are run by TOPRICH LOGISTICS LIMITED ("Maplesill", "we", "our" or "us"). Our registered office is:

You can write to us at info@maplesill.com, and our customer service email is available 24/7. When you use the site or place an order, you accept these Terms of Service together with the policies they point to, including our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Return & Refund Policy.

2. Who may shop with us

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority in the place you live, to buy from Maplesill. By ordering, you confirm that you are legally able to enter into a contract. A younger shopper is welcome to browse, but a parent or guardian needs to complete the purchase for them.

3. Customer accounts

An account is optional; guest checkout works perfectly well. If you do open one, please give accurate details, keep your password to yourself and let us know straight away if you suspect anyone else has signed in. Activity that happens through your account is your responsibility. We may close an account that is used to break these terms.

4. Our tea towels and how colour appears

Every Maplesill product is a set of two printed tea towels in 100% cotton, each approximately 18 x 28 inches, with hemmed edges and a hanging loop. One towel in each set carries the full scene; the second carries a coordinating smaller-scale repeat. Sizes are approximate, because woven cotton can vary by a small amount from towel to towel and may settle slightly after washing.

We work hard to show the artwork faithfully, but monitors and phone screens display colour differently, so a shade may look a touch warmer or cooler in your kitchen than on your device. Designs in our Folk & Tile collection are printed patterns on cotton; they are not ceramic, embroidered or stitched.

5. Prices and currency

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Shipping charges are added at checkout and shown before you pay. Any sales tax that applies is calculated at checkout. For deliveries outside the United States, import duties and local taxes are the responsibility of the recipient. We can change prices at any time, but a change will never affect an order we have already confirmed.

6. How an order becomes a contract

Pressing the button to pay is an offer to buy. We accept that offer when we email you to say your order has shipped; the confirmation you receive right after checkout is only a receipt. We may decline or cancel an order, for example when an item has sold out, when a price was clearly listed in error, or when an order appears fraudulent. If we cancel after taking payment, we refund you in full to the original payment method.

7. Payment

Checkout is handled by Shopify and our payment processor. By paying, you confirm that you are authorised to use the card or wallet you choose. We do not store your full card number on our systems. More detail lives on our Payment & Security page.

8. Shipping, delivery and risk

We charge a $7.99 flat rate to ship anywhere in the world, and shipping is FREE on orders of $100 or more. Orders are prepared in 1-3 business days; U.S. delivery typically takes 5-9 business days and international delivery 10-20 business days, with tracking on every parcel. Delivery estimates are a good-faith guide rather than a guarantee. Responsibility for the parcel passes to you once the carrier marks it delivered to the address you gave us, so please check that address carefully.

9. Returns and refunds

You have 30 days from delivery to return a set for any reason, including a simple change of heart. The full process, including where to send the parcel, is set out in our Return & Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

10. Discount codes and promotions

Promotional codes are valid only for the period and on the terms stated with them. They cannot be exchanged for cash, and unless we say otherwise only one code can be used per order. We may withdraw a promotion that is being misused.

11. Artwork, content and our trademark

The designs printed on our towels, together with the photographs, text, graphics and layout of this site, belong to us or to those who license them to us, and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Buying a set gives you a towel to use and enjoy, not a right to copy, reprint or resell the artwork. Maplesill is a trademark owned and operated by TOPRICH LOGISTICS LIMITED. You may not use the Maplesill name or logo in a way that suggests a connection with us without our written permission.

12. Fair use of the site

Please do not use this site to break the law, to send spam or harmful code, to scrape or copy it in bulk, to interfere with its security or running, or to pretend to be someone else. We may suspend access for anyone who does.

13. Reviews and things you send us

If you post a review or send us photos, comments or ideas, you confirm the content is yours to share and is honest and lawful. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to display it on our site and social channels in connection with Maplesill. We may remove anything that is offensive, misleading or unrelated to our products.

14. Links to other websites

From time to time we link to sites we do not control, such as a carrier's tracking page. We are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices, so please read their own terms.

15. Disclaimers

We aim to keep the site accurate and running smoothly, but it is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promise that it will always be uninterrupted or free of errors, and we give no warranties beyond those expressly set out in these terms or required by law. Nothing here takes away the rights you have as a consumer under the law that applies to you.

16. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maplesill and TOPRICH LOGISTICS LIMITED will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the site or our products. Our total liability for any claim connected with an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. These limits do not apply where the law forbids them, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

17. Indemnity

You agree to compensate Maplesill and TOPRICH LOGISTICS LIMITED for claims, losses and reasonable costs that result from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the site.

18. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events we cannot reasonably control, such as severe weather, carrier disruption, strikes, network outages or public emergencies. If one of these affects your order, we will keep you informed and, where we cannot fulfil it, refund you.

19. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong SAR, and the courts of the Hong Kong SAR have jurisdiction over any dispute. This does not remove any protection you are given by the consumer laws of the country where you live. Before taking formal steps, please email us; most concerns can be settled quickly and kindly.

20. Updates to these terms

We may revise these terms as the shop grows or the law changes. The new version applies from the date shown at the top of this page. Orders placed before an update remain covered by the version in force when you ordered.

21. Severability and the whole agreement

If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, the rest continues in full effect. A delay on our part in insisting on any right does not mean we have waived it. These terms, along with the policies linked above, make up the entire agreement between you and us about your use of the site and your purchases.
