Every Maplesill set is made the same way, so you can pick purely by the picture. Here's what you'll receive and how to keep your towels bright and thirsty.

What's in each set

• Towel one, the full scene: the artwork as a complete picture, printed edge to edge.
• Towel two, the coordinating repeat: the same motifs and colours in a smaller-scale all-over pattern.
• Each towel has hemmed edges and a hanging loop for a hook or peg.

Measurements

Measurements are approximate. As with any woven cotton, towels can vary by a small amount and may settle slightly after the first wash.

At 18 x 28 inches, a towel folds neatly in half over an oven or dishwasher handle, covers a large mixing bowl of rising dough, and is roomy enough to dry a sink full of dishes.

Washing and care

• Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle.
• Tumble dry low, or line dry in the fresh air.
• Iron warm if you like a crisp finish.
• No bleach, which can mark the print.

Colour over time

Our prints are made for everyday washing. Over many washes, colours may soften slightly, the way favourite kitchen linens do. Washing cold, drying low and skipping bleach will keep them looking their brightest.

Folk & Tile designs

These are printed patterns on cotton, inspired by stencils, paper-cuts and painted tiles. They aren't embroidered or stitched and contain no ceramic, so they need exactly the same care as every other set.
