Paying for a set of tea towels should feel as easy as buying them at a market stall, and every bit as safe. Here's how we protect your payment.

Ways to pay

We accept the major credit and debit cards shown at checkout, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover, along with express options such as Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay where your device supports them. The exact choices available appear on the checkout page.

Prices are in U.S. dollars

Your order is charged in USD. If your card is issued outside the United States, your bank converts the amount and may add a foreign transaction fee; that fee comes from your bank, not from Maplesill.

How your card details are protected

• Shopify checkout: our checkout runs on Shopify, which is certified to PCI DSS Level 1, the highest standard set by the card industry.
• Encryption: every page of our site, from browsing to payment, loads over an encrypted HTTPS connection.
• We never hold your card number: payment details pass directly to our payment processor, so Maplesill never sees or stores them.
• Fraud screening: orders are checked automatically for signs of fraud, and your bank may ask you to confirm a purchase with a code or in its app.

When you're charged

Your payment is authorised when you place your order. If we ever need to cancel an order, the full amount goes back to the original payment method.

Watch out for look-alike messages

We will never email you to ask for your password or your full card number. If a message claiming to be from Maplesill asks for either, please don't reply; forward it to info@maplesill.com and we'll take a look.

A payment problem?

If a payment is declined, check the billing address matches your card statement, or try another card or wallet. Your bank can also tell you why a charge didn't go through. For anything else, write to info@maplesill.com; our customer service email is available 24/7.
